I was really bored one day, and I thought of an idea to make a Stacie Time Line! It documents Stacie's career so far. I couldn't possibly include everything, but I tried! WILL BE UPDATED WITH 2007/2008 INFO SOON.

1998

• Stacie and her family go to Estes Park. Stacie is encouraged by her Mom to enter the Talent Competition. Stacie performs at the age of 12 in the 12-18 age bracket.
• Stacie WINS the competition
• Eddie DeGarmo offers Stacie a record deal with Forefront Records
• Clueless Stacie asks God and her family for guidance
• They decide that it's the right thing and God planned this for her
• Stacie accepts the offer and is signed in 1999.

1999
• Signed to Forefront Records
• Stacie spends the year recording and developing a sound and a solid message
• Stacie begins to write songs like "Dear Friend" and "Genuine"

June 2, 2000
• "Don't Look at Me" is released to Christian Radio
• "Don't Look at Me" spends ALOT of time at the #1 spot on CHR.

June-July 2000
• Stacie begins to promote her upcoming CD, "Genuine" by playing concerts and singing at Festivals.
• She makes her first music video for her new single, "Genuine"

August 26, 2000

• Stacie's first music video "Genuine" premieres on PAXTV along with a special interview she did for "Cafe Video"

August 29, 2000

• "Genuine" releases to stores everywhere

September 2000

• Stacie's "Genuine" sells 13,000 copies in the first week, setting a record for the most CDs sold by a debut Christian female artist in the first week!
• Stacie's video "Genuine" gets played on Disney Channel's Zoog Disney

Fall 2000

• Stacie begins opening shows for Destiny's Child
• "Genuine" (CHR) and "With a Little Faith" (AC) are released as singles.

Winter 2001

• Stacie continues to play concerts and meet fans all around the country.
• Opens for Destiny's Child on a few dates of their tour
• She does a number of Radio Interviews
• We find out Stacie's nominated for 4 Dove Awards!

April 2001

• Stacie joins her first tour ever, "Plus One the Tour" with Plus One, Rachael Lampa and DJ Maj! The tour kicked off on April 5 and Stacie performed "Don't Look at Me", "OO Baby", "Ride", "Genuine", "Dear Friend", "Without Love" and "Everything" on the tour, along with the finale of "When Your Spirit Gets too Weak" with Plus One & Rachael.
• "Without Love" is announced as Stacie's new single

May 2001

• Stacie performs 'Don't Look at Me' at the 2001 Dove Awards. Unfortunetly, she goes home with no awards.
• Stacie releases her first book, "Genuine : Being Real in an Artificial World" - an awesome book written for teenage girls
• Stacie makes a new music video, "Everything" - it premiered May 29, 2001 on the Oxygen Channel

June 2001

• Stacie performs at "EO Jonderendag" Youth Day in Amsterdam! This is the first time Stacie performed outside the US.

July 2001

• Stacie performs at a countless number of festivals
• She also begins recording her Christmas album, "Christmas Wish"

August 2001

• Stacie's new single "Stay True" is released to radio (as is the remix version)

September 2001

• Her second book "Dear Friend : I'm Here for You" is out

October 2001

• Stacie releases her Christmas six-song EP, "Christmas Wish" on October 9

November 2001

• Stacie releases her new Christmas single, "Christmas Wish"
• Stacie begins a new tour, "Make a Wish Mall Tour" for the Make-A-Wish foundation. Stacie performed at about a dozen malls and donated money and granted a wish for a child in the area where she performed. Stacie performed her Christmas songs, Jingle Bells and maybe a song from her debut CD. She also signed autographs after each performance.

Winter 2001-2002

• Stacie records songs for her new album

March 2002

• Stacie celebrates her 16th birthday on March 3
• "Bounce Back" is released to radio

April 2002
• Stacie's album get's delayed
• Virgin Records co-signs Stacie, to promote her music with Forefront Records
• Stacie plans World Tour - but it gets cancelled because Stacie felt over-stressed and she had to re-record songs for her new CD

May-June 2002

• Stacie re-records songs for her new CD
• "Bounce Back" continues to rise up the charts
• The "Bounce Back" Enhanced CD single is released to stores on June 18. It includes cool videos and multimedia on your computer. And the album had the songs "Bounce Back", "Genuine - Very Real Remix", And 3 song medley of upcoming songs "I Could be The One", "Hesitation" and "Strong Enough"

July 2002

• Stacie makes a comeback, when she begins performing again at Christian Music Festivals
• "Stuck" is announced as one of Stacie's new songs

August 2002

• Album pushed back to January 2003. Stacie continues to record new songs for her record; including a song written by Diane Warren!

Fall 2002

• Stacie takes some downtime, doing a couple tour dates here and there! Preparing to release her new CD!
• Stacie makes the video for "Stuck"

January 2003

• Stacie visits various radio stations (mainstream and Christian) to promote her new single "Stuck" and other songs from her next album!

February 2003

• "Stuck" makes a big smash on the charts - it was the #1 most added song in Mainstream CHR/Pop the first week it was out!
• Stacie records "More to Life" and "Instead" for her new album
• The "Stuck" music video premieres on MTV.com

March 2003

• "Security" is released as Stacie's Christian CHR/Pop single and "Strong Enough" is released as her Christian AC single
• Stacie's video "Stuck" reaches the top 10 countdown on MTV - TRL! She debuts at #10!
• Stacie appears in Teen Vogue, Campus Life and CCM magazine!
• Stacie also receives attention from YTV, Nickeloden, WindowsMedia.com, Tower Records, Billboard, Radion & Records, and more!
• "Stacie Orrico" the album is released on March 25!

April 2003

• Stacie performs on the "Wayne Brady Show"
• Stacie makes an appearance on MTV's "TRL"
• "Stuck" continues to rise the charts and TRL countdown!
• Stacie shoots an episode of "American Dreams", she plays Peggy from the 60's group "The Angels". She performs the song "My Boyfriend's Back".

May 2003

• Stacie performed at many radio station shows such as "Kiss Party" and "Your Show 4" across the country to promote "Stuck" and her new album!
• Stacie visits Mexico and gets sick =(

June 2003

• Stacie shoots her next video, "More to Life"
• Stacie HOSTS MTV's "TRL" on June 4th!!
• Stacie also appears at several radio shows like "Zootopia" and "Taste of Broad Ripple"!
• Stacie begins her international tour!! Hitting countries like Australia, Germany, Italy, and Japan!
• On June 18th, Stacie performed the song "Stuck" on Italy's version of TRL!
• Stacie also performed a showcase on MTV Japan and did an interview!

July 2003

• Stacie performs at several more radio shows including "Red, Hot, and Boom", KIIS's "Taste of America" on July 4th, and "Red, White & Boom"!
• Stacie participates in Teen People's "Rock & Shop", and performs at the Mall of America in Minnesota.
• "(There's Gotta Be) More to Life" is released to radio and is the #1 Most added song, having adds to almost 70 stations - Mainstream & Christian.
• On July 17th, Stacie premieres her newest music video, "(There's Gotta Be) More to Life" on MTV's TRL!
• Stacie visits Germany and performs on various TV shows!

August 2003

• Stacie continues to promote "More to Life" on radio!
• Stacie performs at various radio shows, in-stores, and more across the country!
• Stacie graces the cover of CCM Magazine
• "Stacie Orrico" the album hits #1 in Japan!

September 2003

• Stacie was interviewed on MTV's special about Gospel music, "From Church to the Charts"
• "More to Life - The Remixes" single is released to stores
• Stacie performs at Disneyworld's "Night of Joy"
• Stacie performs "More to Life" and "Stuck" live on MTV's TRL on September 19th!
• Stacie appears on CNN's Music Room

October 2003

• Stacie performs "More to Life" live on the show, "Living it Up with Ali & Jack"!
Stacie Orrico the album is certified Platinum world-wide!
• Stacie performs "More to Life" acoustically on "The Sharon Osbourne Show"
• Stacie is interviewed at the 2003 Radio Music Awards on October 27th!
• Stacie performs on the UK show, Top of the Pops!

November 2003

• Stacie's "More to Life" single DVD releases to stores on November 18th! It includes the "Stuck" video, "More to Life" video, Behind the scenes of "More to Life" and remixes!
• "More to Life" hits the US Top Ten for radio airplay!
• Stacie shoots the "I Promise" video
• Stacie performs "More to Life" on the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on NBC!
• Stacie releases two brand new Christmas songs, "The Christmas Song" and "What are You Doing New Year's Eve" on "For Christmas" - available at Target!

December 2003

• Stacie performs at Christmas in Rockefeller Center on December 3 - unfortunately her performance didn't air on NBC!
• Stacie's super booked this month as she performs at countless radio station holiday concerts - including Z100's Jingle Ball!
• Stacie announces the 2004 Grammy Nominations - and finds out she has recieved one herself! Stacie is nominated for Best Contemporary/Pop Gospel Album!
• Stacie's performance at AOL Sessions is now available to watch for AOL members
• Stacie's exclusive concert airs on Music Choice digital cable network this month!
• Stacie gives 2 Christmas performances on The Today Show and recieves a plaque in honor of her CD going Gold!

January 2004

• Stacie's peformance at "Night of Joy" airs on the Hallmark Channel
• Stacie appears in countless teen magazines - Teen People, J-14, Bop, etc.!
• Stacie appears on "TRL UK" at premieres her new video "I Promise"
• "I Promise" is released on the UK charts on January 22, 2004
• Stacie is nominated for Favorite Breakthrough Artist at the 2004 MTV Asia Awards
• Stacie attends the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France!
• Stacie teams up with Nestle Sweetarts for a sweepstakes..where a lucky fan could win an acoustic Stacie concert at their home next year!

February 2004

• Stacie tours throughout Europe and Asia
• Stacie attends the 2004 Grammy Awards, where her album 'Stacie Orrico' is nominated for Best Contemporary Pop Gospel Album of the Year! She goes home empty handed =(
• Stacie recieves 5 2004 Dove Award Nominations!
• Stacie attend the MTV Asia Awards on Valentines Day and made some bold statements regarding Britney and Christina's decisions to be "sex symbols". Stacie also did an amazing performance at the show, singing a medley of "Stuck"/"More to Life" and included some popular Asian rappers in her set!
• "Instead" is released to Christian CHR on February 27th!
• Stacie teams with Elle Magazine and Armani for their "Women on the Verge" campaign

Spring 2004

• It's announced that popular UK singer, Louise Redknapp will record Stacie's song, "Bounce Back", with the same lyrics but a different sound.
• Stacie wins 3 2004 Dove Awards in late April - but is unable to attend the ceremony.
• "I Could Be The One" song and video is released to the UK
• Stacie is nominated for an MTV Japan Music Video Award for Best New Artist Video ("Stuck"), but does not take home the award.
• Stacie performs at the popular Disneyworld event, 2004 Grad Night, and appeared on segment on TRL about the event!
• Stacie is nominated for 11 American Christian Music Awards!
• Stacie's latest CD, "Live in Japan" is announced - the release date is August 4, 2004!

Summer 2004

• Stacie has music on "The Simple Life 2", "That's So Raven", and "Stuck in the Suburbs" soundtracks
• Stacie graces the cover of Guidepost for Teens for the June/July issue
• Stacie performs at numerous Christian music festivals and state fairs! Including both Creation East and West, Alive Festival, Luis Palau Twin Cities Festival, California State Fair, Colorado State Fair, etc.
• Stacie takes part in the Make-a-Wish foundation event, "Third Annual Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream Social" in New York
• "Live in Japan" CD is available to order online in August
• Stacie's "Live in Japan" DVD (US release) is announced for release on November 2nd

Fall 2004

• Stacie performs a few more shows, including opening for Jessica Simpson!
• "I Could Be The One" is being played on CHR Christian radio
• Stacie's "Live in Japan" DVD is released on November 2, 2004!
• Stacie is in the process of recording and picking out material for her next album

Winter 2004 & 2005
• Stacie performs at the PENCIL Benefit Concert in NYC on December 1, 2004
• Stacie is currently working on her next album, expected to be out late 2005/early 2006
• Stacie attends the 2005 Grammy Awards on February 13, 2005

2005
• Stacie rests up with family and friends
• Stacie continues to record her next album
• It is rumored that Stacie wrote the majority of songs and the album is expected in 2006
• In October, Stacie becomes apart of the "Come Together Now" project, recording a Hurricane Katrina benefit song with artists like Celine Dion, JoJo, Wyclef, Joss Stone, Nick Carter, etc.

• "I'm Not Missing You" is announced as Stacie's first single from her album, "Beautiful Awakening"

• Stacie shoots the video for "I'm Not Missing You" - the director is Diane Martel
• "I'm Not Missing You" is released online on June 6, 2006
• Stacie performs a showcase concert in Japan to promote her upcoming album
• The tracklisting and sound clips are released for "Beautiful Awakening"

July 2006
• Stacie is interviewed on ABC News segment "What's the Buzz"
• Stacie performs at "Red, Hot and Boom" in Orlando
• The "I'm Not Missing You" video is released internationally
• Stacie goes to the UK for a press tour
• Clips of Stacie's album hits the internet, and eventually the whole album

August 2006
• Stacie performs on various TV shows in Germany and The Netherlands
• Stacie performs at the big Germany festival, Energy in the Park
• "Beautiful Awakening" releases in Asia & Europe
• Stacie returns to the UK for a promo tour
